Hi everybody, I have question to you, my friend from Germany want to buy from me Harley Muscle V-Rod 2010 (imported from the USA) and told me that he needs COC - certificate of conformity in order to get "TUV" so I can get this certficate but it will be in English. It is no problem to get tuv when COC is in English not in German? What are procedures of "motorad anmeldung in Deutschland". Motorcycle is "angemeldet" in Poland and I am riding it almost one year. thank you

I would say that the most secure way would be to contact directly the TÜV station your friend is planning to hand in his bike as they are can provide the most reliable information. I would say that the "this needs to be this way" might differ from location to location.

Just like Gittafrog already said: it depends on where you ask. If you want have anything done better don't ask in Bavaria. They're pretty strict about everything down here. You'd better try somewhere in the North of Germany.
